A Four Year Study & Visual Narrative
Show Run: November 5th through December 20th, 2018

This is an Interactive exhibit with Encaustic and Acrylic Paintings, Photographs, Topo-maps, Guides and a Discovery Table. The Wilderland and its treasures will be displayed within the gallery for visitors to explore as the artist will set up a temporary ART Studio at this Exhibit/Experience. She will be painting birds and working on illustrations for her “Eye Spy Nature Series.

 The Wilderland Exhibit is an interactive experience which has been developed by local Maine artist and photographer, Kdb Dominguez during a four-year, all-season commitment of engagement within the Kennebec River Watershed, 10 nautical miles, from Merrymeeting Bay to  Seguin Island Lighthouse.

Based on 1945 acclaimed novel by George Orwell. “All Animals Are Equal, But Some Animals Are More Equal Than Others.”  When the animals take over the farm, they think it is the start of a better life. Life isn’t as easy as they thought, as old problems take new form. The story finds new life in this contemporary stage adaptation. Performed by New Repertory Theatre, this play explores themes of power, politics, and propaganda. 75 minutes, suitable for grades 5 and up. Funded by the J.R. Our poetry slam has a special twist: Local celebrities recite and interpret lyrics of their favorite Beatles’ songs. No music. No singing. The audience is encouraged to respond to the Celebrity Presenters or the judges in any way they see fit: including finger snapping, foot stomping and verbal exhortations! Held in the Annex.
